Our extraordinary senior for this month is Norman Harlan. He was born on March 26, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is happily married to his wife of 36 years Loretta and they have six children; Kimberly, Jessica, Normell, Candace, Norman Jr. and Jeremy. Norman entered the Air Force in July of 1964 and after serving our country for 30 years, retired at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. During his military career, he fought in Vietnam, served two overseas tours and had five stateside assignments. To the younger generation, Norman says “live a life totally depended on God.” He quotes Ephesians 6:1-3 (NIV) which says ‘Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.’ If the young people endeavor to do this there is no limit on the blessings they may receive.” Norman hopes he leaves the legacy of being a good husband, father, friend and faithful servant.
