Have you notice “yellow stuff” all over the ground and cars. That means pollen is here and allergy season is among along with Flu season and COVID-19. Here are some differences to tell them apart.
Allergies symptoms include:
- Itchy nose, eyes or roof of the mouth
- Runny, stuffy nose
- Watery, red or swollen eyes
Treatment of seasonal allergies may include over-the-counter or prescription antihistamines, nasal steroid sprays and decongestants, and avoidance of exposure to allergens where possible. Seasonal allergies may last several weeks.
Flu symptoms include:
- Muscle aches
- Fatigue & weakness
- Chills & sweats
- Sore Throat
The flu is treated primarily with rest and fluid to let the body fight the infection on its own. Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory pain.
