“I am blessed to continue to work for the Department of Defense going on 38 years in nursing. The first half with the Department of Army and now the Department of Air Force. Nursing teaches you how to assess people and it stretches your faith. I have seen miracles in my profession and witnessed the magnificent power of God. Praying for patients and believing that God’s purpose for me can’t be taken for granted. Nursing has strengthened my pray life.

My parents were my main source of motivating me. My father was in the Army and we traveled all over the world. I have learned to respect the cultural diversity of people around the world. It has allowed me to never meet a stranger and not worry about the color of their skin. We all have been created by God. They encouraged trust God, strive hard, apply myself with my best foot forward, to be kind to everyone as you move up and recognize those who helped you.”

Her Testimony: “When I am called home, I pray people remember and tell everyone she loved Jesus and told me about Him.”

Her statement to Generations X,Y and Z: “Prepare for the future by accepting God as your Savior, get an education, write your dreams and visions down. Take time to look over them, pray for direction from God, wait, listen, knock, seek , and ask Him what will you have me do Lord?”

My Favorite Scriptures: Romans 8:38-39. – [Trust God!]
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
