The Mercy Showing Ministry is an outreach ministry of Fellowship Bible Baptist Church that meets the physical needs of the church and community by ministering to the sick, the bereaved and those who have experienced any type of tragedy. Under the leadership of Alice Jordan and Barbara Anderson, the ministry is 65 members strong and strives to live out their theme scripture Matthew 5:7 (NIV) “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” This ministry meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:45 p.m. in the Faith Dome. One of the many outreach efforts of the Mercy Showing Ministry is the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday boxes. The ministry is now accepting donations for the Thanksgiving boxes. The deadline to donate is November 18th. Drop-off boxes are located in the Faith Dome, the Chapel and each Christian Enrichment Classroom. Let’s help make a difference for those who will receive these boxes!
