Ministry Highlights January 2017

  • Free Play Basketball is on Saturday, January 7 and 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the FBBC Gym.
  • All Girls-in-Action and ACTEEN counselors will meet directly after church on Sunday, January 8 at the FBBC Gym.
  • The Single Women in Ministry Small Group (ages 35 and older) will have a Meet and Greet on Monday, January 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Building Room 113. Regular classes resume Monday, January 23. No childcare is available during these classes.
  • The Smooth Steppers will resume classes on Tuesday, January 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Building. Come join us for ninety minutes of fun, fitness and fellowship!
  • The Royal Ambassadors are hosting a Martin Luther King Jr. Historic Site visit on Saturday, January 14 for youth ages 8-17. The bus will depart from the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Building at 9:00 a.m. and will return between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Transportation will be provided by TranSouth Charters and a light breakfast will be served prior to departure.   • The Women’s Fellowship Ministry will meet on Saturday, January 21 at 9:00 a.m. in the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Build-ing. We are starting the New Year with the ‘Sista to Sista’ Discussion Panel. The Women’s Fellowship Ministry is open to all women of FBBC. Let’s start 2017 with unity and love!
  • All ladies ages 15 and older interested in playing softball are asked to meet at the FBBC Gym on Sunday, January 22 directly after service. Contact Tracey Joseph at 478-442-6932 if you have any questions.
  • The Girls-in-Action and ACTEENS will meet on Wednesday, January 25 at 5:30 p.m. at the FBBC Gym to make Valentine gifts for the residents of Southern Heritage Home. Please contact Tracy Joseph or Vanesia Frazier for more information.

  • StEP Tutoring is every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the FBBC Gym.
  • The FBBC H.Y.P.E. Youth ministry will be going on their annual Youth Retreat to Blue Ridge, GA for 3 days and 2 nights in the North Georgia Mountains March 30 through April 1. During the retreat, they will work to build a better relationship with God and with each other. This trip is for youth ages 13 and older and a deposit of $50.00 is required to secure a seat on the van. Please see a member of the H.Y.P.E. Youth Leadership Team for more details and to receive a trip packet.
  • The Women’s Prison Ministry would like to welcome Louise Wilson to the team and asks that you keep them in prayer as they minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to the prisoners.
