Ministry Highlights April 2016

  • Free Play Basketball is scheduled for April 2nd, 16th and 30th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the FBBC gym.
  • The Caring Hearts Ministry will be visiting Rev. Thomas’ Homeless Shelter on Wednesday, April 13th between 2:00p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please see Marion Rogers for more information.
  • The Women’s Fellowship Ministry “Ladies Day Out” to the Mall of Georgia (Buford, GA) will be Saturday, April 30th. The cost is $10.00 for transportation and ladies are asked to wear their “Being Saved is Cool” T-shirts. If you would like to participate, please sign up in the foyer.   • Hate to exercise but know that you need to move? Come join the Smooth Steppers Ministry for 90 minutes of fitness, fun and fellowship. When? Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Where? In the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Bldg.
  • Aerobics with the SHIP is every Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and every Sunday and Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the FBBC Gym.
  • The Student Enrichment Program (StEP) meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the FBBC Gym.
  • The Theatrical Ministry meets Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Bldg. If you would like to join this ministry, please call Cheryl Clay at 478-302-7383 or Frances Johnson at 601-870-2133.
  • The Single Women in Ministry Small Group meets Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the Willie L. Reid Multi-Purpose Bldg. Room 113.
  • The Men’s Small Group meets Thursday, April 7th and 21st in the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Building Room 210 at 7:00 p.m. For questions, please contact Deacon Strong or Brent Gibson.
  • The Theatrical Ministry’s outreach for this month was to help a faithful member of the Ship, Pat Maxell and her grandchildren, while she was admitted in the hospital with food, transportation and any other needs that occurred.
  • Thank God for all the ministries here at the SHIP that help meet the needs of our congregation and community!
