FBBC Impacted Lives Through Ministry Outreach

MINISTRY: FBBC impacted lives through the outreach efforts of these ministries:

ATHLETIC MINISTRY

* STEP program: facilitates this mentoring & tutoring program
* partnered with Houston County churches to host youth basketball league for the month of July; which included 45 teams.
* partnered with the Curtis Agency to host a Christmas basketball tournament, during which 25 bicycles and various food products were given out to youth in our community.

BELLE’S AND GENTS CLOTHING MINISTRY

Provided attire to those families who suffered loss during the hurricane

DEACONS MINISTRY

* Maintained communication with membership at-large via phone call center, face-to-face, mail, email and social media
* Ministered to 8 homebound members
* Made visitations to 35 members hospitalized

GREETERS MINISTRY

Participated in the Christmas Toy Drive

LITURGICAL DANCE MINISTRY

* Ministered at the WR Rehab & Nursing Facility as well as the MLK scholarship breakfast
* Disseminated bags of necessities to the homeless

MEN’S MINISTRY

Partnered with several local schools to increase a male presence of support and encouragement to youth as they entered school buildings

PARENTS OF SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN

* Facilitated special needs conference
* Provided school supplies at Veterans High School
* Hosted a ‘1Mother Night Out” Painting Party
* Facilitated a uHealing through Nutrition” class

ROYAL AMBASSADORS

Provided classroom/gym mentoring and leadership sessions for young males

SINGLE WOMEN IN MINISTRY

* Provided food for the VBS
* Serve dinners at the Macon Rescue Mission
* Provided survival kits at the Safe House of Macon; a safe house for abused women
* Delivered baskets to homebound single parents during Christmas

SOLE-TO-SOUL EVANGELISM

* Frequently evangelized throughout Warner Robins
* Held community picnic at Green St. Homes
