Youth Spotlight – Madison Lewis

March 2, 2019

I am Madison Lewis, the daughter of Jeffrey and Ketina Lewis and I have a younger sister, Jordyn Marie. I am a member of FBBC’s Acteen Ministry.

I am a seventh grader at Feagin Mill Middle School. This school year, I accepted an invitation to join the Feagin Mill Chapter of the Junior Beta Club. I was invited as a result of maintaining an A average in sixth and seventh grade. Band is usually the class I enjoy most. I am learning to play the clarinet to become a member of the school’s symphonic band.

My favorite extracurricular activity is Girl Scouts. I enjoy earning badges, life skill class participation, and trips to various places. As a junior scout, I earned a bronze award for volunteering 20 hours at an animal shelter. Now a Cadette, I am working toward the silver award, which requires 50 hours of community service. For the past two years, I have earned trips to Washington DC and New York by selling over 1800 boxes of cookies each year. I look forward to reaching my goal again this year to earn a trip to Orlando.

I love getting a good laugh at the dinner table, so I’m dubbed as the family comedian. My daily affirmation is – God made you for a purpose – live it. My FBBC family, I want to say the same to each of you. God made you for a purpose – live it.
