Ministry Highlights June 2017

The W.O.W. Ministry is now taking vendor applications for their 2017 conference. Please visit www.fbbchome.org between June 4 and June 18 to fill out a vendor interest form. The cost is $50.00 if you’re selected.

It’s all about the ‘Blazing Seniors!’ A new ministry called the Trailblazers for men and women ages 62 and older kicks off on Saturday, June 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Willie L. Reid Multi-purpose Building. A light lunch will be served. Please sign up in the foyer if you would like to attend.

The ‘End of Year’ Girls-in-Action and ACTEENS event will be held Saturday, June 10 at the Goldcup Bowling Alley on Russell Parkway from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, June 14 the Georgia Legal Services Program will host an Elder Abuse Seminar from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to Tomieka Daniel by June 11.

Vacation Bible School is June 20 through June 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. nightly. Preschool children to adults are invited to take part in this fun-filled Bible program.

The Event Planning ministry is accepting new members. If you are interested please email Katrecia Brandon at katreciabrandon@icloud.com.

The Summer Church Basketball League is now registering coaches, players (boys and girls ages 9 to 17) and teams interested in participating. League play is the month of July. Contact the Athletic Ministry for additional information.

The Cancer Support Group will not meet in June due to the IAmMan Men’s Conference.

STEP Tutoring is on break for the summer.

Bible Study is cancelled on Wednesday, June 14.
